Free summer meals have begun

The Greater Chicago Food Depository's Summer Lunch Bus started appearing throughout Chicago on June 25. It will be available each weekday (except for July 4) to serve meals to anyone under 18 years old until Aug. 31 at the following locations in or near the West Side:

Good Shepherd | 2735 Kolin Ave. | South Lawndale | 11 a.m. to 11:20 a.m.

Resurrection Project | 1818 S. Paulina St. | Lower West Side 11:40 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Richard M. Daley Library | 733 N. Kedzie Ave. | Humboldt Park | 1:25 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. 

Austin Branch Library | 5615 W. Race Ave. | Austin | 3 p.m. to 3:20 p.m. 

All meals must be eaten on-site. For more info, contact the Food Depository at (773) 247-3663 Ext. 4050.
