"A woman's health is her capital." Those famous words were spoken by Harriet Beecher Stowe, an American abolitionist and author. Just as Ms. Stowe stated, health should always be top-of-mind, and that's why it is the focus of the West Side Women and the West Side Business Network.

In March 2015, we celebrated our second year as a women's business network. Our mission is women empowering women for success through networking, resource sharing and leadership development. We have a vision to create opportunities for diverse women to build relationships and inspire each other throughout their personal and professional lives. Utilizing networking meetings, resource fairs, educational forums, and social gatherings and word of mouth to bring together women of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds using local media as a vehicle.

Two Guest Speakers from Rush will provide their expertise: Kimberly Harden, MD and the Director of Breast Imaging Paula Grabler, MD.
